Mel and I launched at the north end. I was contemplating driving to the south end but decided to avoid the madness going on out there. That sun sucked the life force out of me. And it pretty much killed Melissa too. She was pretty tired from paddling. I had to hear about it all the way home... and the next day... and...

I was only tired because the wind picked up late afternoon.  My arms were burning while paddling and on our way home and the next day, my arms were achy and sore to the point where I couldnt even lift my arms.  Yup, that bad!  (Apparently I'm not paddling correctly either) That is how out of shape I am.  No worries, I'll be doing alot of paddling this year.

I admire you for getting out there and doing it. I have tried to get my wife on the water by showing her your pics of sturgeon and other fish. She says thats great but no thanks. You are da' woman.
