2 of us launched my big boat from san leandro at 6;30 and headed over to op.  we put in flashers/herring near san bruno shoals in 13 ft and quickly caught a 25" butt.  around 8;30 we picked up 2 friends at op.  we trolled and trolled from the birdcage to the green building.  the weather got calm and hot. we had some hookups, some ldrs, a shaker and 2 more keepers at 22" and 28".  and as usual, the wind was fierce on the way back to san leandro.

Solid day Chris. Funny that you said that the winds were fierce, I hardly felt a breeze out my way.

slow trolling, 1.6 kts before the wind.  against the wind is tough to troll.  with the wind up to 2.7 kts.  no pics, the fish were so small.
