I haven't missed an episode since the show started!
Must have been tough for Phil Harris to stay behind after fishing all his life :smt010

I am baffled by this show, it's just a bunch of guys catching crab. Yet it's been on for multiple seasons and.........I can't stop watching it.

I know I'm not the only one who is looking out to see what fish drop out when they open the pots.

If I am the only one, well, lets just pretend I was joking.

Those pu$$ies are on a big boat in survival suits and at it for the big bucks.  I admire a kayaker out in the slop for the thrills more...   :smt002

Yes, I too love the show!   :smt003

Can't get enough of it.

Also, a newer fish show I just watched last night (Wed.) on Animal Planet, I think, was called river monsters (kind of hokey title and premise) but focuses on big, I mean big freshwater fish from around the world.  Last nights episode showed 5-7 ft. catfishes (gooncht, sp?) in a small river near the Himalayas. These guys were free diving about ten feet to take a look at them.  And these fish had some teeth!!  Definitely one to mark on the calendar to watch.

+1 for "those without cable". BUT, I did finally give this show a try last night & watched the first two episodes via the netflix instant viewing. While not completely hooked by it, I understand the draw.

I know I'm not the only one who is looking out to see what fish drop out when they open the pots.

:smt044 Totally! I saw a 15-20lb pacific halibut-type fish flop out on one of the pulls & thought "well, they are eating fish tonight!"

I suspect that most of those guys might be sick of seafood though.

Love the show.

River monsters it good too the last one was on Parajanas (Sp)  They had some that were huge with big fangs.  He put a bunch in a pool and got in the water with them to see if they would eat him.
