Will actually be fishing Pedro with my uncle on his powerboat Thursday 4/16 and then hitting it with the yak on Friday 4/17.

I'll be launching out of Moccasin at 6AM with my VHF tuned to ch. 69.  I'll have minnows to chase a few bass and some frozen shad to possible target some kings.  It sounds like the kings have been hit & miss. :smt012

If I was chasing trout, that is where I'd be but I'm hoping to cross paths with a salmon and possibly upgrade on the bass.  My uncle knows Moccasin like the back of his hand and I'm counting on him to put me on one of his big Betties.

The Friday yak fishing is now 50/50.  I haven't finished all of my chores and 2 days of fishing would kill the WAF account.  Jeff, I'll post the final decision tonight.

Good luck out there Michael!  I'd love to see you pull some of them big boys from that lake!  I've never had much luck at LDP myself... 3 weekend trips and only one trout and a couple bass to show for it.  But camping there with a boat is a ton of fun!

I did find the waterfall area last time there and I would suggest ya not go there if your bringing your wife  :smt044  It was like girls gone wild!!!  :smt007

It is official, Friday yakking is a no-go. :smt009   I'll only be there Thursday on a PB.

Nah, the wife won't be joining me anytime soon on the yak.  Not that I don't want her to, she's not into it.  On the other hand Al, it sounds like we need to make a pilgrimage to DP.  I've never seen the waterfall. :smt003  :smt002
