Fort Bragg - 35ft viz on 4/05

The ocean laid down today, so bunch of us went for a boat dive in front on the GP Mill.  I could see a dropped dive knife under the boat in 35 FOW.  Only a small swell as well.   I got 3 at 9" or a hair over.  Man, it felt good to dive again - but 47 degree water.  That's friggin cold!!  I only got 2 Greenling - didn't see any other fish.

Tomorrow, should be good as well.

That boat diving is convenient.  I don't do it too often, but we're in and out with limits in about an hour and a half.  And that's only because I took my time shopping.  Everyone else was sitting in the boat waiting for me.

Thats awesome viz. Did it blow like crazy up there during the week? I have only seen visibility like that a handful of times on the coast. It seems like down time and confidence just shoot way up when you can see better. Or is it jusy me. Those are some nice abs Dave. Congrats.I didn't see one fish diving on Saturday. They must have been in deeper water after the mess on the ocean last week. I really look forward to diving with you this year. Craig

Those are some nice abs, That sounds like a great dive Hope the vis is half as good on tuesday along the sonoma coast.

Craig, Merv (Amphibian) is coming up on Weds through Sunday to dive around here.  I'll probably take friday off to go dive with them.  I'd be stoked if you came up and dove with us.  Or anyone else that's interested.

I'm gonna implant a micro-cam on you, Animal!  Glad you got some good vis - it was way less than a foot here yesterday...

Get one of those Critter Cams like they use on the nature shows Abking!  That would make some documentary!  Life of a NCKA diver.....maybe unsuitable for some viewers.......
