Any of you Northern folks know how high water level got on Shasta?  I'm curious to know if the McCloud river arm filled up to the bridge or beyond.

I just got off the lake, albeight power boat.  The lake is still down 65 feet.  We went a ways up the Squaw Arm and it was really low and colored.  Water temp was around 57 degrees.  I do think most the ramps are in the water now, except for the northern ramps on the Sac Arm.

Fishing was slow, only catching 11 fish for the boat.  All were small around 12" or under.  Caught on worms and jigs in crawdad color.  I have good luck with a black lizard on an arky head as well.  Saw a lot of trout jumping.

Hope this helps.  Matt

I fished it 2 weeks ago for 9 fish, water was 52 degrees and dirty.  We've had really nice weather, so things should be picking up soon.  I'm cutting out of work early today to get back up there and will post up how we do (non-yak).
