BCOTY-By-catch of the year?

How about a forum for the biggest cats, sharks, mudsuckers, birds...
Or a forum for the biggest bag of garbage plucked out of the drink.
Im bored.

I'm thinking this is a great thread, especially for when you catch that really nice specimen of something that you definitely weren't targeting.

I'm looking forward to seeing what shows up.

Call it an innocent by stander that was caught in the cross fire.

Overall, spearfishing is a selective take sport, but on occassion, stuff happens...

Now that's threading the needle so to speak, one unlucky little fish  there.

I brought up a rock in 2007 and a juvy Gray Cod in 2008. Who was it that brought up a rock while fishing with Howard in AK in 2006?
