Nope and neither does fish caught in SoCal

Soon I hope :smt003

All fish entered must be caught south of the California/Oregon border and north of the southern borders of the following counties Monterey, Kings, Tulare and Inyo.

Hey Brian, how did you do on this trip?

I used to live down in Yuma, AZ and I know the Colorado River quite well. I was out of town when you first posted so I missed your post.

I'm headed back to Yuma to visit friends March 27 and I'll be sticking around down there through April 3. I'm bringing my yak down there for the first time and I plan on doing some long drifts down the river trying for LM bass.  :smt003

So did you get to fish? Did you catch anything? Striper are always good near Bullhead City, and the smallmouth in Lake Mojave can be really good this time of year too...

make sure you douche your kayak with something to kill the Quagga mussels before bringing it back up here. We used to fish as kids 49 years ago closer to Blythe, used to wack the carp and Bluegills pretty hard, not so good on the bass. Too  many hotties around Parker skiing in teenie bikinis to pay too much attention to fishing.

This is what Parker is famous (or is it infamous) for: http://parker-river-rats.com/index.html

The best fishing is right below the dam or many miles down stram away from all the boat traffic. It is a great place to play golf in the winter.
