I am aching to go and get some macks.  Should be the perfect time for them in April with nice weather (probably!).

Who else wants to join in?  Tahoe Fish n Chill?

I know at sly park the maks come within the top 5 feet of the surface to feed in the winter, but i thought that they usually stayed 100+ feet at Tahoe
Everybody should have the opportunity to fish

I'd love to go for a day trip.

I'll check the books and see if I'm free.

Was just there today. Beautiful! Got a foot of snow last night. Took 7 hours to get home because of snow.

My car buried with kayak racks sticking out

A few hours later

Headed up Hwy 50. 15 mph almost all the way to Placerville

Naturally living in Truckee I am up for a trip at anytime!.....except for the week of Easter.....Palm Springs :smt006.

You can either jig or troll with banana weights.   However, come April, toplining should be a good option

Don't cut Donner to short either, some of the largest macks in the area come out of the lake.

Jeffrm20:  The snow was great!  Although, it is now almost 7 PM and a significant amount has already started to melt due to the temperature and water content.  Should be melted out by mid week as the weather is calling for daytime temps in the 50's.  We should see, spring is almost here.
