Launched from Wimpy's and trolled south for a nice striper at about 9:30 am. Turned it around and tried for LMB but no luck. Worked my way back past the launch and went west of Wimpy's for more nada. I talked to one group in a PB who said they caught some crappies, everybody else I talked to got skunked. Most of the PBs were great - slowing down to pass. Lots of stew in the water...very nice day otherwise.

Glade to see you caught something.  Did you pay for launching or parking?

Hint!
Next time you go back try a tossing a fish trap on a 1/2 oz Strike King Flats Jig Head.  Seems to work better then the other fellers trolling.

Nice report and pics.  Glad the PBs were courteous.  Some of those guys think they own the water.

Yes it was a nice day out there yesterday. I also gave it a go.  Water still seems a little on the cold side tho.

Glad you got a fish today.  That is a nice sized striper.  The bassing is sure to get better soon.
