got out late (noonish) nand dropped 6 promar tr-102 traps and 3 hoops. 3 of us worked the gear with only short soaks in between pulls and managed 15 dungies before the wind got the better of us and we called it a day. there seemed to be alot of dungie around and few rock. lots of undersize dungie in our gear. the pots were filling fast and the nets even quicker. what really surprised me was that half of em were commercial plus size. dropped all our gear btwn marker 30 and 40 about 75 to 100yrds off the southern breakwater. if the wind hadnt blown us off the water it would have been limits.

Great job.  I also discovered something similiar several years ago when I used old albacore meat for bait.  It is the best crab bait you can use.  It was like a magnet to the crab.  It must be the oily meat of the tuna.

They say shad are supposed to be one of the best because they are oily. I'm sure the albicore are the same. Nice to hear there are a few bugs out there....
