Well, the swells are coming back down a bit and if they are under 5 feet, I am heading to Muir Beach! I bought fresh (well, frozen) herring the other day and am all set. Who wants to come along?

Cool...When? I'm not entirely committed yet. I want to seee if the swells back down a little more. It's a long paddle from Muir and not very sheltered, so if the swells are below 5 I will most likely be there around 7 or so to launch...Where are you located? If at all possible, it would be great to carpool. If not, that's cool...I'm in SF, rightoff of 19th Ave...
 Anyway, let me know.
 Thanks
 Andrew

Some reports of nasty wind and chop are coming in on Coast Side...Not sure if I'm going to make it...

Hi Andrew,

This is Mike the halibut diver & salmon guy with the yellow scupper pro in Pacifica. We've met before.  The gate at Muir doesn't open until around 8: 00 AM or so, so I'll be there around 7:30-8:00, if the swell dies down, which hopefully it will.  If you want to carpool, that would be fine.  I'll be coming from Pacifica.

Hey Mike...I thought that might be you! Well, carpooling would defintiely be good. Do you have room for a second kayak? Also, Rich mentioned going to Muir on Tuesday. I just read a report that the chop started at 8:30, which worries me.
Anyway, give me a call if you like and maybe we can meet up in the morning.
 Thanks,
 Andrew
