Went to a few hmb beach on my way back for lunch today but it was all blown out and the water by shore was nasty. I didn't even bother to fish.  Drove past ocean beach on my way back home and surprisingly the conditions were much much calmer.  Usually it is the other way around.  I ended up with a few medium sized perch on grubs and gulp worms.  I tried a jerkbait for nada, perhaps the perch up here are smaller?  Anyone get them on crankbait up here or get any big ones lately?
