Trolled for trout today at Del Valle with my friend Chris in his little boat.  We caught 8, all over 12".  largest went a bit over 18".  Very nice fish.  Trolled flashers with nightcrawlers.  All action was to the right of the dam.  Got a couple of bites on Kastmasters, but zilch on the various Rampalas recommended.  Fished out 30 - 50 ft back at around 10 ft deep.

Last time people asked for pix, see attached (note the ruler on the right).  Chris took some better pictures on his camera and I can post them when I get them.

Solid day DanMan.  I love trolling flashers but have never had luck with them at DV.  Nice to know that they will produce there.  What kind of blades were you pullling?

Sounds like a great day at DV. Thanks for the report.

How was the water clarity?

Can't wait to do some more fishing at DV. I love this lake.

The water clarity sucked at the launch, as you move toward the dam it gets better.  Around the dam you could see down to about 3 - 6 ft deep in the shallows.

We were pulling Seps dodgers.

Most the fish were in near the shore.
