Less than 2 months to the rockfish opener and it is time to start getting in shape for those epic ocean paddles in search of giant lings. Molly and I will be fishing Quarry Lakes from 9 AM to 1 PM this Saturday with a goal of 6-7 miles. Gave up all lures EXCEPT for Rapalas for Lent so you know what I will be trolling.  :smt005 Luckily Rapala came out with some new secret weapons (not secret agents  :smt011) which I will be testing. Company welcome!  :smt006

Good luck.

You shouldn't have any problems with inspectors now.

The lady with the Mustang is cool.  I'll miss her.

hey, Scott -

Would love to join you at Quarry, but going to chase bass and stripers in the delta.    Look forward to chasing rockfish and lings with you after the opener.     Let me know if you want to do a warm up paddle for sanddabs and mackerel.
