Our official wal-mart greeter (Mooch) is hanging @ Halfmoon Bay this wkend so we'll have to do for now. Welcome aboard and give out a shout if your in the neighboorhood. Sounds like you might be in the area if your going to Collins.

Doh! I should have gone to Collins today.  I had been looking for a local hookup, but since nobody replied I went to Folsom and got skunked  .  I am looking forward to your Collins report.

hey man welcome good luck out there,

Went to collins saturday morn. It was beautiful out there except the water was muddy due to all the recent rain, the lake level is nearly full. I did manage to catch one fish although i was trolling for trout i caught a small mouth bass, not complaining though because my buddys got skunked . I would highly recomend that place it has great camping and perfect for yakkers, and they stock it well. By the way thank you welcome comittee its nice to be here.

Congrats on the Smallie-they sure do fight good for their size!

i like collins lake exept in the summer that place is PACKED and motor boaters own the lake

i imagine it would be alright in the witer months
