Magellan eXplorist 100 GPS $23.99 at toys r us

its on clearance for the weekend..actually all of their GPS are 50 - 70% off retail price, but this is the only handheld one I found in the store.

its a pretty basic GPS, not many bells and whistles, can't connect to your computer.  look it up on amazon if you want.

but for $23.99 + tax no complaints here.

check your local toys r us. by the way dublin store is out of them =). since this is a special clearance you can call the store and ask if they have them, but DON'T ask about the price - the price will work guarantee.  try not to alert employees as they have been known to buy items away if they are a good deal.

modesto store may be out of them in the morning after I wake up, but don't worry if you're from modesto and you want one I will sell them to you at cost as long as you promise not to ebay it.  I just want to snatch them up before others do.

Thanks for the tip.  I went to the TRU on Winchester in San Jose.  They didn't have any handhelds.  None online either.  But the 50% sale on all GPS units continues.  Seems like a good deal if in need.
