Great read Don... I've had a waaaaaaaaaaaaay oversized break me off at Monty's too. It didn't fight much at all until it got right under my boat. This thing looked like a telephone pole then... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... gonzo. I ended up hooking up with a keeper about 2 minutes later though...

that rough water would have made me dump the worms and head back home.....You musta' really wanted to go fishing bad.
Losing it and not seeing it is Sooo0ooo tough, but like Chuck said "look in the bright-side"   if you can see one.
