:smt007, I love days like that. Strong work on catching the break in the weather, none of my shore spots have been safe for a while!

Abking maybe you found a second career making movies

Thanks, BK - I just need to get discovered.  Hopefully by a mega-rich, ultra-hot group of lady promoters who could set me up with my new career.  I think an episode per week @ $1MM/episode would be fair.   :smt003

Nice video AK looks like a lotta fun. I would love to try a trip like that but I would be worried about the Boys in green.

Never a "run of the mill" thing Bro! What else would we be doing if you and Dom weren't out having all the fun? :smt012
Seeing you guys walking on the sand, in the fog, reminds me of when Charelton Heston lands back on earth in the classical movie "Planet of the Apes"
Too Cool and don't stop sharing the northern coast please. :smt004

That's it, I'm going back to climbing out there in my street clothes.   :smt012  If I haul my gear up the beach on the yak with Roleez is that still "using a boat to aid in catching off-season fish"?...

I'm ready to argue my case:  the mode of transportation to a legal fishing area is irrelevant.  It doesn't make sense that it would be illegal to yak across 40 yards of water when you can also walk to the same spot.  I would think that a judge would consider me eccentric but not in violation of the regulations.

Anyone wanting to hookup some time:  I am a staunch supporter of the DFG regs.

Bring your cold weather gear, be ready for crappy WX, and be ready to question why you're working your ass off for potentially marginal fishing results.   :smt001

SWEET!  We used to catch those greenlings off of the lost coast.  We'd roast them on the beach, with driftwood, in little ovens made of driftwood!  Theyre tastee buggers!

Thanks for sharing your spot w/us.
[Just remember its illegal to use a kayak to access + fish offshore reefs when the boat season is closed. Not saying you did that--just a reminder for people considering doing something like that.]

Are you sure about that? - Is there a particular reg or code citing it? I have received conflicting information from a CDFG warden when I asked that question. I'm gonna do a little further investigation, too.

Nice Job, Eric.  Hey, let us know what you find out about this.  I wanted to do that but was told by a warden that you couldn't.  Maybe something about having the fishing gear and fish in the boat on the way back.  Really though, you're just using the boat for transportation.
