Tired of waiting to be caught, giant Humbolt squid beach themselves in San Diego

Somethings going on with these squid. I saw a pic of one recently that someone snagged while fishing on the beach in Washington.

I read over on USA Fishing.Com that these giant squid eat a lot of juvenile rockfish. If that's true I don't feel bad at all to have them wash up. Kill a squid, save a rockfish.

looks like even ocean creature should worry about quake too
