There is a launch spot that is close to where ya turn up the hill towards the Totally Depressed San Pablo

Marina,  leaving your car there is " Scary " and it might be illegal, but I have been thinking of this

And just to complete the disaster feel, we'd be fishing in a closure area!

When we lived in Pt Richmond we used to go there a lot and there's lots of security there since 9/11, oil security, and they keep a huge eye out for illegal dumping too, lots of eyes on everyone coming and going. Probably even safer than R. Pier maybe, but Ive found spent cartridges and broken window-glass at both places...The only "locals" are at a funky little wharf-town over the hill, and they dont like anyone, forgot the name but Im sure someone here remembers it.

I'd be interested in fishing pt. molate an pt san pablo. Remember hearing that sturgeon were caught at the shoreline under the san rafael bridge when I was a kid. Red rock looks area looks promissing and the rocks half way to redrock sure look like striper territory. Let us know when we can do this fishing expedition.
