Got to Pleasure cove at noon, Allen was fishing since 6 at the dam for zero, so we put in at Pl. cove and 10 seconds into my troll with a little rainbow trout rap-x and I land the only fish of the weekend, a 12.5 inch King. Chowed out at camp, just Allen/Oh-to-be, and man it was cold, when Adam showed up at 7, there was a coat of ice on my tent. Adam had a few take downs that got un-buttoned, he LOVES that lake! Had a great time, thanx Allen for the non-burritos and Adam for the salad! Got a fish on board, post pics tomorrow, still in the truck.

Here are some pics, we had the lake to ourselves, almost. Beautiful weather, nice and warm with the sun, water at 54 degrees.
First fish on the board, need upgrade, bad!

Nice pics Ben. I was gonna join you guys but a little birdie whispered in my ear. The afternoons are my type of weather but ice on the tent would leave me headed for rancho monticello and a warm bed. AOTY fish. Right on. Cute little bugger. Even cuter in the smoker. :smt006

Started fishing solo by the dam at first light. Five hours of trolling for trout/salmon and fishing the points for bass for three take downs for nada, but it sure was gorgeous out. Around one I headed over to meet up with Ben and proceeded to the ramp for launch. I paddled out to the end of the dock only to hear Ben hook-up and land a beauty.
Even the birds of prey seemed to know the fishing was off and were preoccupied with having fun as well. First  it was an osprey that spent better than thirty minutes harassing a seagull to the point the gull was  crying out "uncle...uncle"! The following morning two bald eagles took to the skies chasing possibly the same osprey.
The weather and company easily salvaged the weekend........

ENTER COMPANY LINE HERE: _ _ _ _ _ it was great to paddle over 6.5miles with my best Real_Friends, fishing was only a reason to get together. :smt002

Adam:

You've had better luck than I have at that lake, and I am fishing with Naoaki.
