Can't wait to hear how this thing performs.  I'm doing OK for now with my Olympus waterproof and Sony, but I'll be needing something new before this year's up I'd say.  Thanks for posting this.   :smt001

I had a Lumix and it took amazing pics. I'm needing a camera that's waterproof and I'll definitely be checking this out.

Yeah nothing like a wide angle lens for those "Fishsniffer" moments! But its good for those underwater "FisHunter" moments also.... :smt012

I read some reviews online for this and it's not as rugged as the Olympus SW series. Also it's $399.99.  Pretty pricey!

So is the new Olympus offering! Same price but it looks a little tougher...

HOLY TOLEDO...!!!....DID you READ....where the blurb says this camera is programmed to RECOGNIZE FACES....!!!....???....and will prompt you to enter
the name of some individual THAT THE CAMERA REMEMBERS HAVING SEEN in prior shots...??...!!!...

You would be jumping up and down in the funny H-D videos they would be shooting of you after they took your new camera. :smt003 :smt044

Seriously I've been looking at new cameras since my kid took the Pentax and my UW camera got dumped into saltwater without its housing. :smt013

The new offerings are getting better and faster. The wide angle lenses will also improve UW, close-up, and those "fish-pics". The Olympus Tough will also have UW housings available for more serious diving. I expect more video will be showing up on the web with these small UW camera/housings available.
