Doran Crabs 1/30

I wasn't sure if there were going to be people at OAP so I decided to head out to Bodega bay.  A little bit choppy at 8 in the morning but it calmed a bit by 9:30   
For a two hour stint on the water I was able to net 28 Rock/Reds and 5 dungees. 
Hoping to try for a Dino soon though

Nice work - those are some fat rockies.  Way to go.   

Whooo, strong work, makes me want to get out and so some crabbing again very soon!

Places like Doran and Ft Baker never cease to amaze me; there are people taking crabs from there continuously, yet the supply appears to be limitless.

If you guys are really into the red and rock crabs, drop your nets by Tides Wharf in the harbor. That place is crawling with crabs.

I had the jetties all to myself this morning...dropped 6 nets for some quick work and I was on my way home by 11:15 and on the way to IN n OUT for energy boost.

Nice Allan, how big those dungess?....last time I went there, caught a lot but they are small to keep!!!! but I do managed to keep some red crabs though.

Kiel, the dungees were just about 6".  I stayed near the jetty cause the chops were nonstop.  I would have ventured out more for more commercials but i didn't feel safe. 

Way to go on the crabs hightide. I better be invited to dinner. J\K
