Delta Largemouth

during summer months which fishing types are preffered?

Lures Ex repalas or rattle traps

Or worms like a carolina rig?

To me summer on the delta = frogs and buzzbaits.  For plastics I focus more on texas rigged robo worms and the trusty senko.  Bass are usually more active in the morning when it is cooler out.  Once the oven turns on you can pick em off in the shade or under the weed mats, good times.

Ditto on XSquid's remarks...topwater early mornings (and sometimes later in the evening or night).  I also like poppers as a topwater option.  I have had some success deep cranking outside weed edges. 

Fast moving rattle traps could also work in certain situations.  A Carolina rig is another option too, along deep weed edges.
