Short and sweet. I hit the water about 8:30. There were two or three PB's working the area near the launch. I put in and baited up with some night crawlers near the launch. After a bit of sitting I managed one. Got restless and trolled to the narrows with a chartreuse wedding ring tipped with a crawler....No love! Switched to a fire tiger mini rapala. Again, no love. Saw a guy snag a nice LMB. Went back to the launch area for another hour or so with no hits. Then the rain started so I called it a day. Lake was low and there was a small alge bloom. Also the water in the narrows was real stained. That with the low front coming in made for a tough bite but a good day all the same. I guess there is an upside to getting laid off last week!

Here's the one I bagged

Nice work, Eric.  That's a very pretty fish - especially when you compare it to some of the mutants that come out of there.   :smt001

Trout are mostly the type to find a site and wait for it to come to them.

BTW nice fish, sorry to hear about the lay off!
