Work was finally over for the week, and I had some extra daylight to burn. Through my kayak on the truck and drove the 3.4 miles to the mouth of the Eel, right into mothers open arms. (That's what we call the fog bank)

The rings were set so I grabbed a brew and wandered around the beach and watched the hawks cruising the dunes looking for an unwary bird or rodent.

It was getting dark and with the fog so thick vis was 50 ft or so. Time to head across the channel and pull my rings up, and head home. I made to shore with one legal crab, loaded up the gear, and filled a bucket with water for boiling Mr. Crab.

Can't wait to get back on the water!

Being an honorable sportsman is way more important than what you catch.

Nice report.

Did you catch more than just the keeper, or was he it?

It's all good, I was born on a foggy night in the middle of the day. Also there were alot of small dungies, so many it was like sticking your hand in a blender.  They are cute but frisky.
