Sunday at China Camp 1/18

Launched at China Camp sunday morning and headed out toward the pumphouse area. I chose this spot because I had caught and released my first sturgeon from a motor boat there the Sunday before (69", possibly 80 or 90 lbs, see picture). Nice day but the water was choppy, even though the wind was light. Stopped about 1 1/2 miles from the launch, about 1/2 mile short of the pumphouse itself. Caught 5 or 6 bullheads, and that was it. Maybe next time.

Way to pursue, Mike.  That big one must've been a good fight.
