Just got back from a week of snowboarding at Mt. Bachelor, OR   (near Bend...we Californians get there by leaving I-5 at Weed, and going North on Hwy 97.

Bachelor is a totally wonderful ski area......and Bend is a large-enough town that you can find inexpensive lodgings.

The mountain is extremely varied....all high-speed quad lifts.  No lift lines (except on the major holidays and even then, not a problem).   Some of the nicest trail skiing anywhere.   Summit lift takes you to 9000 feet...leaving you a 3,000 foot descent.

I thought of you guys...how you like pictures with your posts....

So..........

Looks like you had a great time up there. I hope to fish Cresent Lake up that way for Browns, someday soon.
Thanks for the pic.
