I'll be up there this weekend if you're still around. Weather is supposed to be nice sat/sun too.

Darn, I wish this was my short work week.  I have every other Wednesday off, and it doesn't fall on this week.  :smt010

I have done well top lining spinners and criplures this time of year in front of the dam and out toward Dry Creek.  Drowning a minnow or cricket is always a good bet too.  I used to mooch cut anchovies by the dam in about 40-50 ft of water for the salmon.  Slow fishing, but you can catch some nice ones.

Wish we could get right next to the Dam still, I used to catch a lot of fish around the flotsam that collects there.  I made a 2x4 frame to make a small hole in the flotsam, and pulled the fish right up through it.  Just like ice fishing; except no ice, and it really wasn't that cold, and no shanty....well hmmm.

Bass on the bottom and trout toward the top!

Good luck!  Matt

Is the McCloud arm up by the bridge dry?  Theres a campsite close by that we've used but a friend of mine has sent me pictures a few yrs back that show the lake bottom with nothing but a tiny creek flowing.  Its strange to see a rock way up the side of the bank where, last time I was there, the top of that rock was just out of the water and I snagged a 10lbs+ carp near it!
