Launched around 7 am wind was already up. Tried my hali trolling rig first but I was picking up way to much grass. I headed out to the poop pipe to make some bait.  Bait was everywhere and I quickly made about 6 chovies and a jack smelt. I started off by drifting the jack smelt and about 5 minutes in a get a tap-tap. I let the line out in free spool and count down to 30. I then reel down... nothing. My bait smash mashed though. I decided to send him back down and about 10 minutes later landed a small brown shark.

I kept fishing and had a few more scratched or stolen baits but not more fish. I marked a lot of bait out there though so hopefully it will turn on soon.

Sounds encouraging with all the bait.  We'll keep an eye on Oyster.
