I went out this weekend chasing stripers Saturday and ended up with one LMB instead (pic 1).  Well, stripers have been a blast, but I needed to get back to Bassin'.  I went out Sunday with the aim of getting a few to bite.  To my surprise, my first bite was a nice fat 7 pounder (21 inches) on a crankbait.  After the pictures (pic 2 and 3), I went over the spot again for another bass, but only a two pounder.  Later I got one more a bit less than two pounds.  All were on a crankbait worked real slow over weedbeds.

Have a good week.

Nice bass Bryan, solid looking.  I had the same idea for today, but don't have a 7 to show for it!  Will post a report soon.

Very nice fish. Now that most of my lakes are closed to boating I might have to start hitting the delta. Got to get in shape first.  :smt002

Damn Bryan...Still making it look easy. Thanks for the report. I need to get done with my honey-do list so that I can get back on the water!
