Nothing at Dux

Launched through the mouth at Bolinas, paddled out to the buoy, trolled for 1.5-2 hrs, nothing...I started at 11:30 or so, and heard a lot of Coastsiders talking about an early bite...

How was the launch and paddle?  About how long did it take you to paddle out there?

The launch was pretty easy...The sandbars at the mouth have shifted such that it's a straight shot out to the ocean...It's almost an hour's paddle out. I think I needed to be there earlier. Maybe tomorrow, although I think Muir Beach is a better place to launch. There's a lot of good rocky coastline to fish north of there, and I've done the paddle all the way from Muir to the green buoy. It's do-able, but a workout.
 If anyone's going to Muir tomorrow, let me know when, etc...I might go.
