Vallejo/Mare Island/Napa River Monday Dec 29

I'll be launching out of the Vallejo Public boat launch at 10:30, company is welcome! I think Jedmo has already said he will meet up, anybody else?

The plan is to ride the incoming tide upstream from Vallejo and explore the area around the Hwy 37 bridge and the Napa River sloughs for potential sturgeon spots. High tide is at 1:35 and then a long outgoing begins that should have a considerably strong current with it. I'd like to stop and fish potential "good spots" for a bit along the way.

Yes sir, finally in my backyard kayak fishing. Looking forward to it. Now I just need

Hey Jay! What's the deal? Stripers? Sturgeon? I am game on Monday but also plan on going out tomorrow over at Napa Marina.

I'm going with the intent of finding some close to home sturgeon fishing, but I certainly won't turn down a nice striper! See you Monday! Right now it sounds like it's just you, me, and Jedmo.
