modesto res inlet

Anyone want to hit some trout sunday morning, I need to be back to waterford by 12:30 pm, get on the water at 6:30 or 7. 1 hr paddle up inlet to fish!!

Wish I could join you badog.  I've never heard anything about Modesto Res. inlet but have heard things about Woodward's inlet.  Have you tried that on a yak?

I have just hit turlock and modesto inlets , lots of trout, easy access.  Would be up for hitting woodward some time. Nice thing about modesto and turlock, is that they are 15 minutes from my house!!

dfg has been planting modesto, turlock reservoir almost every week.  is modesto reservoir that far of a paddle to the inlet?  I'd rather drop in at turlock at the inlet since its right there =). also been planting the merced river and mcswain every week.  but my car is out of commission so I can't get out even though I'd like to.

Turlock is only good at the inlet during irrigation season. I believe modesto flows all year, plus nice paddle up inlet!!

I usually fish McSwain when I'm out that way visiting the fam but I'd like to check out some of the other places in the area...I lived out there most of my life and I don't think I've ever gone to the Modesto Res.
