2009 Angler of the Year

Since I'm newly retired I plan on entering this year.  One question:  How do you post/enter your catch into the competition?

Retired people get the Senior Discount their fish get 25% less points as they have way too much time to fish.

Once you sign up you will get a password that will let you log on and download your catch

You can even enter fish even if you are not entered into the competition, you just will not show up on the leader board.

Yeah I can understand it's already hard enough to fill a card and not pushing for a change.  Just think splitting the trout-steelhead would add another twist to the AOTY competition while at the same time opening up the competition within the trout (non-steelhead) category.  Currently a 30" or so steelhead pretty much wraps-up the current slot whereas a trout only category might provide alot more competition for the lake/res./FW-only folks who are not competing for the AOTY.  Either way, it's all good!

Yep, think I'm finally going to give it a go this next season. I'm going to have to get better at postin' pics  Had some good contender fish this year that would have been fun to post up. Sturgeon on a yak tho.... now that's going to be interesting
