fished with wizard e of pump-- mud marlin were WFO. also managed a really nice fat lep-- probably 4 feet or so. water was decent muddy brown

As near as I can tell, ALL the sturgeon are between Pittsburg and Rio Vista and have been for awhile, perhaps some day it will rain and wash them down into the bay, or is it the herring than entice them in that direction in the winter, or,,,, does anybody really know what makes a sturgeon travel or not travel,,,,bite or not bite,,,,, inquiring minds want to know?  Really

i think its both-- freshwater to flush out the junk fish, and herring spawn to concentrate them in an area...big spawn coming S of Bay Bridge

I'll have to start my reports with "san pablo bay 8-12 feet depth"  that oughta narrow it down to a few dozen square miles...

Ok Adam, you got me, for SP bay that's pretty much what I'm doing,

til then, if I do get out, it'll be in the Powerlines area, unless I get ambitious and try the deep water across from Pittsburg,  time it wrong and it'd be a real pain getting back......
