  Yeah...despite my bravado the other day I decided that "damn the swells" wasn't that bright of an idea, which is why I'm home typing this instead of out fishing like I'd planned.  I guess I can always get some rock fish from shore...

  Took the Fam and dog out to Pillar Point today to watch waves....

Pillar Piont is not the place for somebody who isn't familar with the reef, when the swell is up. Waves break right across the jetty when the swell is up; when the mavericks are being surfed. Thoghts and prayers with the family.

It was pretty huge out there.  When did you go don?  We were there around 9:30 to 1030 or so.

Just missed ya, we were watching waves a little north of Mavs, so we did not get there till 11ish,
