I know there are a few guys from up here in the Tahoe area that troll this board.  Anyone up for some mack fishing this weekend either Saturday or Sunday?  This might be the last halfway decent weekend we get before the white really starts to fly.

Shoot me a PM or just reply to this thread.

Nick

He gave me some great tips last time I headed up to Tahoe!  I'll bet he responds :)

I have never fished Donner before but I know from others that if yo ubounce a big silver flatfish the macs go nuts if they are on the bite. And no dinks either. Usually in the 10#+ range.
I would go but I am taking the fam to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra Saturday night.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Sounds like fun, I like their music.  Will we get a report? :smt003

I hope the concert was a good one!  I was trying to get some tickets to Fridays show but it seems they were almost sold out.

As for the fishing, well, Saturday seemed to play over into Sunday, thus getting out on the water by 5:00 wasn't going to happen.  Unfortunately I will be out of town this weekend and the weather is supposed to be perfect! :smt013

Hopefully it holds out untill Thanksgiving weekend, although we do need the snow, I want to catch a pig!  Tote, maybe we could hook up one weekend, show a greenie such as me how its done?

Not sure I would be showing you how to do anything but I wouldn't mind giving it a shot some weekend.
