Rockfish, anywhere, Monday or Tuesday

Forecast for Monday and Tuesday both look good. Me and The Wife are going rockfishing one of those days. Probably Tuesday (Veterans Day) and probably on the Sonoma Coast (Ft Ross most likely).

All company and suggestions welcome; we'd be persuaded to go 'most anywhere else if anyones got any better ideas.

Might go boletus hunting Monday afternoon if anyones into that.

The "Reef" campground 1 or 2 m S of Ft R is the place to go- 15 bucks for the night and it pays for your pass at Ft Ross the next day...
I might have to join 'yall. Real cool campgrounds, go to the ones ALL the way in the back- very secluded and actually launchable and they dont call it reef for nothing....

I will probably meet you guys at the Fort Tues. being a holiday for me.  I meant to go this past Saturday but pulled out the last minute due to fatigue.

It's looking like a day trip on Tuesday. The camping will have to wait for another weekend. We'll try and be there for 7am when the gates open.

I may be able to go but it doesn't look likely since I just got back from there two days ago. Is anyone going to dive?

Howdy Y'all, I am going to try and play my Veteran card at work today. If it works, I will be there in the morning. I will know by this afternoon.

I looks like a day trip.... I might save the gas and hit Muir beach for crabs and fish, its only 20 min away... Ill post a hookup and see if there's any takers.

The Boss-man has different plans for me tomorrow dammit!

No diving for me; Dr's orders. But if you don't want to dive solo I am happy to loiter up top (I don't know if this is important/worthwhile but either way it's no bother).

I'm there with a couple of other guys.  hope to be there by sunrise
