Not being familiar with Hobies, I wouldn't know what to look for or look out for. The price does look unusualy low for one less than a year old.

If your looking for a HObie Outback, That is a great price.   The drive alone in worth $460.00 in the new hobie catalog     GO FOR IT

yeah, that is an f'ing steal fo sure.  even if its got a hole in hull (i have no idea if it does or doesn't, i'm just sayin...)

    I wonder if anyone outside our little NCKA community is missing an outback?  That price seems way too good to be legit.    No flip & stow rudder so it's 06' early 07' model.

Looking a little closer,

it looks like a 05 or 06, there is no center hatch and it has the plano tackle box holder in front of the seat.

probably has the smaller square tankwell, I actually like this layout better and like the older seat more too. If I had room and $$$$, I'd be checking this out with a scrutinizing eye at the mirage drive well...

It's an '05 or earlier as they introduced the extra large bow hatch in '06. As far as I know the Outback was released in '02 so you'd really have to check that the drive well doesn't have any cracks. That issue was tough back then.
