I don't wear jewlery so I use my cell phone to tell time. Needless to say cell phones don't work for timepieces on the ocean. I was telling my wife I was considering a water resistant watch for yaking and ab diving now that I have started that.

She bought me a Swiss army dive master 500. This thing is sweet. I guess I will now be wearing one piece of jewelry. 500 meter water resistance, Saphire crystal, luminous hands and numbers, stainless steel case and bracelet.   

I may be going up to Mendocino this weekend to break it in. Anybody up for fishing, crabbing, ab diving? I may a couple of friends coming.

Ha ha, I was considering "asking Santa" for just such a gift for the same reasons!

Nice.  Shimmy has some BEAUTIFUL Citizen watches at his shop...one of these times I am going to cave and get one.
