I am looking for an anchor trolley kit for a Tarpon 120. Has anyone had good luck with a stock/generic kit for kayaks? Brand?

Thanks

BassManBen it is.  Has a nice ring to it.

What was the kayak you bought again?

Welcome abroad Russell. I have a Tarpon 140 and use the 1.5 lb. trolley kit from West Marine. It works OK but if you do a search of the forum you will find how others made theirs much cheaper and better. The 1.5 lb. is fine for small lakes but if you are in current you will need more. If your going to be in rivers look into a drift anchor. Remember to always have a break away or a very sharp knife.

Carl,

Thanks for the response. I figure I can put one together on my owm, but I thought there would be one out there for all the kayaks. I will take a look at West Marine.

Thanks again.
