It looks like the ocean is going to be rough this weekend so I am going to take my son and his friend out on the bay and let them wrestle with sharks and rays. We don't keep them but they are a blast to fight. Company is welcome. This is a good way to test out new gear becuase we always catch a bunch.

We will launch from Alameda Rock Wall between 630-730 channel 69. If it rains or the wind gets really bad then we will stay home.

Have fun Merv,

I may go and drop my crab pots with the rest of the hords in Bodega.  If the weather permits, I may go up and drop them off Fort Ross and do some fishing.  I have gotten a few dungies there in the past using hoops, so it may be worth a try.

Later,

Norm

Just checked the latest on the forcast, not looking good, even for normally protected spots like Bodega Bay, big West swell mixed with a small south and lots of wind.  I guess the crabs will have to wait until next weekend.  I'll PM you if I can talk my boy into doing the shark and mud-marlin thing.....
