Finally found a "gear box" (with wheels) that can carry all my kayak fishing necessities :smt007 For $60.00, you too can own this awesome rolling gear box.....

I was able to fit my farmer john,PFD,wind jacket, folding net, game clip, fish bat, rash guard, booties, tackle box and my plano dry box and still had enough room for my rolleez cart  :smt045

I've also been using it for my dive gear - it can fit two scuba tanks,BC,regulator, fins, mask, snorkel, weight belt,7MIL wetsuit and additional weights. There is also a handle that extends out so you can wheel it with ease (just like a wheel barrel).

You can also lock the box with a couple of combination locks for added security and the yellow tray is removable as well.

The box is made by STANLEY by the way....

Nice find! :smt002 Love the little floating tray for little junk. You think it'd fit in the back of a Honda CRV? Keeping the sand to a minimum would amount to some good WAF building.

I was just looking at that box the other day... On the same shelf were some watertight tool boxes, which got the ol' gears turning a little bit as well.  Oh the possibilities...

Sounds like that will smell pretty ripe in a few days.  What's your plan for odor management?  Oh yeah, that's right you're beholden to no one and any stench is yours alone.

Nice find Joel.

Exactly why I am thinking of buying a large laundry basket for this purpose.

I think it's obvious that you don't keep anything wet in a closed container. Basically rinse your stuff after fishing, let dry AND THEN pack your stuff inside the gear box.

Here's a tip on storing your neoprene waders: do not fold them - but instead, roll it to prevent the suit from creasing.

don't you think that was a little mean :smt011.  Not all of us can be happily married like you.   :smt005.  No WAF means fishing when ever you want.   :smt007

How in the hell do you fit that on a Vespa???

Actually that looks pretty cool, always nice to get packed in advance so you don't forget anything.

I use an old army flight bag, it will hold more weight than I can carry, there cheap even new.  They last damn near forever.  The one I use has been with me for 20 years, has been to Iraq for a year, numerous field Ex's over the years.  Plastic boxes, have always been a let down unless they are the real heavy duty ones, than they weigh more than their worth.  When there not in use they fold up nicely. And for cleaning, just go down to the local wash place  and throw in there, or hose it down and throw it over a fence to dry.

I didn't get it at Home Depot, but I came across a set of plastic saw horses for $15 at my local Sears.  I got them home and put my Hobie on without a hitch, a little narrow for the hobie , but I have some eye bolts I plan to mount to the horses then use some straps to hold it in place.  Hey for that price you can't go wrong!
