Man Dies After Found Floating In Lake Del Valle
(BCN) Park police Monday afternoon found a man floating in an unincorporated Alameda County lake who later died at an area hospital.

The East Bay Regional Park District police were called around 1:35 p.m. regarding a possible body floating in the lake at Del Valle Regional Park.

The park district's fire department and personnel from Alameda County joined park district police at the scene where they located the man on the shoreline.

First aid was administered and the man was transported to a hospital where he later died, police said.

According to park police, the circumstances and the cause of the man's death is unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
