3rd try at posting this..........Launched @ 7am t at Stillwater S. Looked like it was going to be a nice day. A little mixed swell but glassy, sunny , light wind from the SW......
Get out to the point with the Sun jusst coming up. Very beautiful morning. First drop in @ 45-50ft of water...WHAM!!!  fish on...28" LING.
Hooked a few small RF in the area before the Ocean turns crappy. Wind picks up, fog bank moving in low and fast. Ocean turned into a washing machine. Biyte shut off for the most part. Hooked and lost something good halfway up?? Moved into shallower water, nothin happening. On the beach @ 12:30. Glad to see a few other well known NorCal guys out today. Made me feel better then being out alone in that fog.

Stillwater was plan 3 today. The road to Big Sur was closed below at LK. The other launch short of there was nasty with a mixed nw and s swell, not to mention it was pitch black as we were planning to drive for another hour. Back the stillwater. As was said it was ok to start with then, confused swell and wind chop. UGLY wet fog moved in. Got lucky with a 27" ling and some blues. A ling a day keeps the wife happy. Nice to get back home at a resonable hour. One week to birthday, keeping my fingers crossed for the camera.
