I finished my ff install and am happy with it. I have a 12 volt 7amp battery. Is this enough to run the ff and a bait tank? If so what would I need to do to lower the power to the bait tank (I keep reading the tank should be 6 volt) while still putting 12 volts to the ff?

How long should I expect the battery to last running both?
Everybody dies, not everybody lives. What did you do today?

Amphibian I have two separate batteries one new school for my FF ( ten AA 2500mah) and a 6V 12.0 amp.hr. For my bait bucket witch I only use for Halibut for now. I was told that the 6v 12amp would make the pump run slower using fewer amps but run for a very long time, witch it does. My recommendation would be if you only want one batter is take it to your local lake and use it all day to see how long it is going to last you if it dies by the end of the day you might want to think about separate batteries, I am not sure if your FF has a GPS also but if it does you may want separate batteries just for a piece of mind you never know, just my 2 cents :smt003.
