Crabbing Thursday 11/17 HMB or Linda Mar

Forecast is loookin' good  for Thursday:

E to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Wind waves 1 to 2 ft. W to NW swell 4 to 6 ft at 9 seconds.

Anybody up for a dropping traps at LM or HMB?

I will most likely be launching a bit late... around 10am.
I also plan to bring a rod to see what may be biting while I soak the traps.

Your midweek fishing adventures are really getting on my nerves!!!!  

I may join you for half day, to learn your crabbing skills. What do I need to bring?

Yup... it's been front page news.  For as close and shallow as we go, I don't think it will have much of an impact anyways.... except for the boat traffic.  I don't think the commies drop traps in anything less than 100 feet.

Never caught a 3 pounder.  It would be rare to get one that close.  I'm not too concerned about size as long as they meet the legal minimum.  Believe me... they taste just as good.... at least the last batch was.  10 small crabs is still a lot.
