Sands of Sorrow - Which launches impose the priciest tolls?

Reading these - and that sick photo - can't help but cringe! Brutal.

Guess this OG NCKA'er.  Here's the "after" shot from the Bean parking lot...  I don't have a before shot as I was right behind the wave that "Savaged" him. 

Bean hollow FTW!  It's the only place where I've felt my life was in jeopardy.

Actually BH isn't all that bad once you understand it.  Linda-mar is the most overhyped 'hard' launch on the coast.  Everyone wipes out in knee deep water there, if you just hop out of the boat you'll be fine.

For starters, I'm going with Limekiln and Bean Hollow. Does Elk rate? If anyone is familiar with Malibu, how 'bout County Line?

I'm dying to see the article but it's sorta strange that Scott's Post popped up a couple of days later hope the Rangers don't get some free ammo.

Any launch is dangerous when the conditions are poor.  Even ARW.  The photo I posted above was certainly not a day to be out fishing.  But frankly, if they can kick us out for safety reasons, they have to kick out board surfers and ban anyone from touching the water at the beach, because you don't need a kayak to get into trouble in the ocean.
